Whether your group are study focussed and travel for educational reasons only, or education is just part of your overall itinerary ECE can assist in creating a programme for you. We believe that most "learn by doing" and we work to engage students in order to gain a detailed understanding of our rich European heritage.

Programme Highlights
If you’re interested in British culture and heritage, but found history lessons a bit of a chore, we’ve developed an interactive programme that will entertain, excite and educate you about this country’s glorious and turbulent past. You’ll learn about the noble art of conversation, dining skills and social behaviour, working your way up to a diploma. You’ll never look at history the same way gain.

Understanding Ireland - Agriculture and Economics
- Family-run working Irish farm stay
- Walking field trips and lectures on relevant topics
- Irish Céilí night or Irish ‘Shanakee’ evening with music

- Partake in various Community Projects
Programme Highlights
During this programme you will stay on a family-run working Irish farm in South-west Ireland and take part in walking field trips and lectures on Irish history, flora and fauna. Visit places like Blarney Castle, Cobh Heritage Centre or Waterford Crystal and in the evening have a cultural experience with an Irish Céilí night or Irish ‘Shanakee’ evening with music. You’ll also take the jaunty car through the Gap of Dunloe, explore the lakes of Killarney on boat, visit Killarney and Cork and participate in a number of Community Projects, whole being able to interact with local students.

World War Two – the Road to Liberty
- Visit the Cabinet War Rooms, where Churchill made his plans
- Take a tour of HMS Belfast
- Visit the Normandy beaches, where the famous landings took place
- Visit Reims or Bastogne and meet a campaign survivor
- Visit a Nazi ‘holding camp’
Programme Highlights
The enormity, horror and bravery that took place in World War 2 are difficult to comprehend, even with the aid of history books and DVD source material. Nothing beats the experience of standing where the action actually happened and meeting survivors of the biggest war in history.
In addition to these fascinating and informative visits, you will also get the chance to take a Thames river cruise, watch the Changing of the Guard and enjoy a West End show.
