Exclusive and unique products
ECE has a range of exclusive products that combine education and learning with outdoor team-building activities designed to stimulate personal development. Programmes may include interaction with American students from 10-18 years old during the months of June through to mid August.
These activities can be provided as part of an inclusive itinerary or as stand-alone products.
Warwick Castle Medieval Encampment Experience
Spend a unique night with American students in an authentic medieval tented village complete with re-enactors and a full-range of activities in the UK’s best known castle. Exclusive to ECE.
Package includes:
- Meet 'n' greet from costumed character
- 3 hours’ entrance to Warwick Castle and all entertainments (excluding Ghost tower - supplement payable direct)
- Two-course evening meal and drink
- Three evening activities: medieval dancing in costume, combat training with the Warwick Warriors, extended archery display and education
- Private evening firing of the Trebuchet (world’s most powerful authentic catapult) with flaming cannonball
- Overnight accommodation in tented village – multi-bed tents (4, 10, 12), all bedding supplied
- Breakfast
Bangor self-development course and activity package
A three-night, two day programme based at Bangor University, interacting with American students in a confidence-building self-development course plus a full day of local excursions.
Package includes:
- Full-board accommodation in single en-suite university rooms
- Excursion day to Conwy castle, Llandudno and Great Orme Copper mine
- Full-day self-development programme comprising half-day of goal / objective-setting, overcoming fears in interactive, ice-breaking activity sessions and half-day abseiling, problem-solving activities at Penrhyn castle.
Please note: students must be 13 years or over
UKSA watersports and team-building package
A three-night, two and a half day programme based at the United Kingdom Sailing Academy in Cowes, Isle of Wight, , interacting with American students in learning to sail and water-based confidence-building activities.
Package includes:
- Return ferry to Isle of Wight
- 3 nights full-board accommodation in multi-bedded dormitory rooms
- Two and a half days watersports and team-building activities programme including; dinghy sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, raft-building, disco and evening entertainment.
