London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
Educational Cultural Exchanges (International) Ltd “ECE” is pleased to announce that they are working with The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games “LOCOG” to source quality youth ensembles to perform at London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
ECE would like to hear from performing arts groups including bands, orchestras, choirs, marching bands and other music ensembles from across the world who would like to be considered to perform at official London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic events.
Those selected will have the opportunity to perform whilst welcoming spectators into the Olympic Park and other Olympic and Paralympic venues.
Mike Clark, Managing Director, ECE said “This is a unique opportunity for young musicians and artists to perform on an international stage making London 2012 a truly global event.”
Interested performers should contact performlondon2012@ecetravel.com to register their interest providing visual and/or audio of performances with a brief outline of their repertoires and performance histories to date.
The closing date for applications is 31st May 2011. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted in June 2011 to discuss potential performance opportunities both pre and during the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
